A great way to get connected at Westlake is by participating in the 4 core courses that make up Westlake’s Life Development Process.
The Life Development Process is our key process for accomplishing our mission and purposes in the lives of Westlakers.
The process involves Westlakers moving “around the bases” of spiritual development (membership, maturity, ministry and mission) as we equip them to follow Christ completely, and to bring lost people to faith in him.
We do this through these 4 core classes:
Westlake 101 – Discovering Westlake
Westlake 201 – Discovering Spiritual Maturity
Westlake 301 – Discovering My SHAPE
Westlake 401 – Discovering My Life Mission
Each core class builds on the one(s) before it, so a key part of the Life Development Process is making appropriate commitments to Christ and to the Westlake family before moving on to the next step (class) in the process.
Since our mission is to equip people to follow Christ completely, we encourage all who consider Westlake to be their church family to move “around the bases” of the Life Development Process.
